CAA Notified: Government Finally Walks The Talk

Four years after CAA bill was passed, the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act has become a reality. The CAA was cleared by Parliament in December. After the notification, the government can fast-track citizenship for persecuted migrants from Muslim-majority Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, who came to India before December 31, 2014.
