"GDP Numbers Not Deeply Worrying": SBI Chairperson To NDTV
India's economy contracted by 23.9% in the April-June quarter. The country's GDP is now estimated to contract 10.9% in financial year 2020-21, SBI said in a report released on Thursday. In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Rajnish Kumar, Chairperson, SBI says," GDP numbers are not deeply worrying; these are estimates based on how the economy will perform in coming quarters."
