Bridge Connecting Gangnani & Harshil Constructed In 24 Hours To Help Expedite Rescue Efforts
The Indian army along with the Border Roads Organisation and other rescue teams has built a Bailey bridge connecting Gangnani and Harshil in the flash flood hit region of Uttarakhand.
The bridge will allow movement of essential relief material to the affected people and help rescue those stranded. According to engineers associated with its construction, the bridge was completed in 24 hours despite adverse weather conditions and challenging topography.
