BRICS Summit 2026 | Russian President Putin & Egypt’s Al-Sisi Hold Bilateral Talks In Delhi

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held talks in New Delhi on the sidelines of the BRICS Business Forum ahead of the 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit. The leaders highlighted growing trade between Russia and Egypt, with Putin saying major joint projects are progressing as planned. Sisi thanked Moscow for progress on the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant being built by Rosatom and stressed the importance of stable grain supplies from Russia and Ukraine, along with freedom of navigation.
