Yet, today with growing population, development needs and expanding consumerism, we are crushing our fragile ecology. Our national treasures are truly our wild spaces and our wildlife. They are the source of our water and air security. Environmentalists warn that we are poised on the edge of ecological suicide, but there is always time to change our course. It really is now or never.
