BJP's Suvendu Adhikari Alleges Convoy Attack, Warns Of 'Prez Rule'
Political tensions flared in West Bengal after BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari alleged that his convoy was attacked while on his way to a Kali Puja event in South 24 Parganas. Adhikari accused Trinamool Congress leaders of orchestrating the attack and said he would impose President's Rule in the state "within an hour" if given the power. The TMC dismissed his claims as baseless and accused the BJP of trying to stir unrest ahead of the festive season.
