Twelve days after Mohan Yadav, a first time MLA, took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, his council of ministers, 28 in all, were sworn in today. BJP's caste balancing act was complete - 11 of the 28 are OBCs, five are from the Schedule Caste and three from Scheduled Tribes category. The party also balanced veterans with fresh faces. After Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, all eyes are now on Rajasthan, where despite a clear majority the BJP government is yet to put together a cabinet and ministers. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal has made two trips to Delhi and it is believed that the list of ministers is final. The BJP in Rajasthan is waiting for the high command to give a go-ahead for the formal swearing in that could happen anytime in the next two days.
