A delivery executive of Blinkit has been accused of assaulting a customer following a dispute during a late-night delivery in Bengaluru. According to a complaint filed by Paul J Vithayathil at the Koramangala Police Station, the incident occurred around 2:00 am on March 7 after the delivery executive allegedly arrived at the wrong location. When the customer reportedly asked the delivery agent to come to his doorstep, an argument broke out. The delivery executive is accused of walking to the complainant’s house, punching him in the nose, throwing the ordered items and leaving the spot. Police initially registered a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) before converting the case into a First Information Report (FIR). Authorities have contacted Blinkit to obtain details of the delivery executive, and further investigation is underway.
