BJP General Secretary and MP Locket Chatterjee launched a sharp attack on the ruling All India Trinamool Congress on June 2, claiming that the party is "finished." Criticising the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, Chatterjee alleged that despite TMC's strong presence in Parliament and the West Bengal Assembly, its leaders were nowhere to be seen after the election results. She further asserted that those involved in corruption and theft would be brought to justice.
