Bangladesh Unrest Deepens as Yunus Govt Faces Heat Over Osman Hadi Killing

Unrest in Bangladesh is intensifying as the Yunus administration widens its crackdown amid mounting pressure over the killing of youth leader Osman Hadi. Protests demanding justice have erupted nationwide, while authorities have failed to identify or arrest the killers, deepening tensions between the government and Hadi's youth group. At the same time, sources point to a rise in anti-India rhetoric and alleged targeting of symbols linked to the 1971 Liberation War. Bangladesh has also backtracked on its earlier claim that Hadi's killers fled to India, now saying there is no evidence of their whereabouts.
