Bangladesh Economy Crumbles | Yunus Ignores Economic Woes, Pushes Pak, Saarc Ties

In today's episode of India Ascends, Economic troubles for Dhaka are far from over. According to the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the country's economy is facing one of its most severe crises in recent history. All three pillars of Bangladesh's economy, the banking sector, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), and the stock market, are struggling, despite Yunus-led government's reform efforts. Meanwhile, Yunus met Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. NDTV's Gaurie Dwivedi breaks it down.
