Ayodhya Ram Mandir Donation Case: 70 Alleged Thefts In Just 39 Days
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified its probe into the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft case, with all eight arrested accused remanded to judicial custody till Monday. Investigators are examining CCTV footage, internal audits, and the cash-counting process amid allegations of embezzlement on 70 occasions over 39 days. The SIT is also probing whether standard operating procedures were ignored, unauthorised access to donation box keys, and possible systemic lapses in supervision, security, and record-keeping.
