8 Dead In 24 Hours In Assam Floods, Over 16 Lakh Affected
The second wave of floods in Assam claimed at least eight lives in the past 24 hours, taking the total deaths this monsoon to 46. Over 16 lakh people in 29 districts are affected due to the floods. Almost entire Kaziranga National Park is flooded and the NDRF has dispatched a team, NDTV’s Ratnadip Choudhury reports from the flood-hit Morigaon district.
