The political war of words over singer Zubeen Garg's death continues to escalate in Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that cases will be filed against those allegedly "provoking" the controversy, including Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi. The CM asserted that "no one will be spared" and warned that Assam would not be allowed to turn into "Nepal." Hitting back, Gogoi accused the Chief Minister of derailing the probe and attempting to malign Zubeen Garg's image instead of ensuring a fair investigation.
