Asian Games In Crisis : No Housing, Ceremony Delayed, Athletes Left Stranded
The 20th edition of the Asian Games are set to begin tomorrow. However, the test for athletes as well as organisers has begun already. The traditional flag-hoisting ceremony was delayed and then disrupted due to unspecified "trouble", leaving multiple countries, including India, waiting for clarity from organisers. The event is also under the shadow of a housing crisis that has organisers scrambling to placate athletes and officials from participating nations.
