Adivasis - the first inhabitants, the original dwellers. The truly indigenous people. Their homes and lands are often threatened in the name of development. But at what cost is this development? And why is that cost so often borne by tribal populations? How does our Constitution guarantee the safety and livelihood of our country's Adivasi population? And are these laws being upheld?
