Till recently severely malnourished children in Orissa were provided medical aid worth nearly Rs 1000 by the state government. But ever since the aid was stopped six months ago, doctors are reporting a sharp drop in their treatment at primary health centres. Workers of the rural health mission say for poor adivasis who can't afford to feed their children, medicines are a luxury.
