Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, United States stood up in support of Israel as it involved putting American boots on the ground in Israel. The United States has deployed its advanced anti-missile system 'THAAD' to Israel. 'THAAD' or the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, is a critical part of the US military's layered air defense systems .The move came after Iran's unprecedented missile attack on Israel. As per the Reuters reports, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said, "THAAD system is in Place". 'THAAD', the anti-ballistic missile defense system is designed to intercept ballistic missiles in their terminal phase. The 'THAAD' will boost the Israel Army, and would also bolster Israel's Defense system against Iran and other terror outfits in Middle East. The tension has hit the surge, following Israel's continuous action against the 3H, and killing of supreme leaders of the terror outfits . Meanwhile, the private residence of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was targeted in a drone attack on October 19, but no injuries were reported.
