The last rites of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar will be held today at 11 am in Baramati with full state honours. Pawar died on Wednesday morning after a small aircraft carrying him from Mumbai crashed during a second landing attempt near Baramati airport. His mortal remains have been kept at Vidya Pratishtan ground for public homage. Top political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, are expected to attend.
