Ahmedabad Fire Brigade Deploys Underwater Robots For Faster Rescue And Emergency Operations

Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services Department has strengthened its disaster response capabilities by deploying advanced underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for faster and safer rescue operations. Known as Deep Trekker G3 underwater robots, these high-tech machines can dive up to 200 meters and are equipped with 4K cameras to help locate submerged objects and victims during emergency situations. Officials say the new ROV system will significantly enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk to rescue personnel, and improve response time during underwater rescue and recovery missions, marking a major upgrade in Ahmedabad’s emergency preparedness.
