Ahead of PM's US visit, Government to bypass nuclear law to help US firm: sources

Fresh controversy over the Nuclear Liability Law has erupted with reports of the government planning to bypass the law to favour a US company seeking to operate a nuclear power plant in India. Sources say the Prime Minister's Office is actively pursuing the deal prior to Dr Singh's visit to the United States next week where he's expected to meet President Obama.
