Senior TDP leader and former Rajya Sabha Member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar filed a complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner (ECI) regarding unauthorised phone tapping by certain police officers at the behest of the state government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
