After Bihar, Will Karnataka Release Caste Survey?
With the Bihar caste survey data being released, the question in Karnataka is whether the state will now release its caste census data that has been lying dormant with the State Commission For Backward Classes since 2018. It was first initiated by Mr Siddaramaiah when he was the Chief Minister in 2014. However, it has been on hold after it was deemed technically incomplete due to a lack of approval from the member secretary.
