Abu Dhabi Air Taxi | 'Who Needs Roads?': Electric Air Taxi Takes Test Flight Over Abu Dhabi

Archer Aviation tested its electric air taxi 'Midnight' in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, as part of its mission to launch commercial operations in the UAE capital. Footage shows technicians assembling the air taxi before and staff moving it outdoors and onto a runway. It then took off, flew over Abu Dhabi with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in view, and landed safely. Officials can also be seen talking and taking photos beside the aircraft. Abu Dhabi is the first market for cutting-edge innovation.
