400 Criminal Record Holders Flagged Near Jantar Mantar During Protests: Delhi Police

A major revelation from Delhi Police's Facial Recognition System. Police claim that 400 individuals with prior criminal records were detected in and around the Jantar Mantar protest site between July 20 and July 24. Investigators also allege that some of those involved in vandalism in the New Delhi area on July 20 have been identified through a combination of CCTV footage, social media analysis and facial recognition technology. The claims come as the police continue to probe the violence linked to the protests.
