A record 13 lakh birds from eastern Europe and Central Asia visited the wetlands of Kashmir this winter. A census by the state wildlife department has revealed that there has been a significant increase in the number of bird arrivals. Ducks, geese, koots, waders and other water birds were seen in large numbers in the wetlands of Kashmir this winter season.(Video credit: PTI)
