While most travel videos revolve around iconic landmarks, luxury resorts, and crowded tourist hubs, one European vlogger chose a refreshingly different path, right into a school dining hall in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Lithuanian content creator Matt Shoe, known for exploring lesser-known destinations and authentic local experiences, recently posted an Instagram reel capturing his visit to a boarding school in India. What stood out was not a monument or a market, but a humble vegetarian lunch shared with students and staff.

In the video, titled Indian Lunch, Matt is seen sitting cross-legged on the floor as students serve him a traditional thali. Curious about the practice, he asks, "Do students serve food here?" A teacher responds, "Yes, it is their duty to do so." Soon, a plate with rice, roti, paneer, and other simple delights is placed before him.
After finishing the meal, he heads to the washing area to clean his plate and thanks the students with a warm smile.
