A hotel in Vilnius, Lithuania, surprised a guest with fitness amenities after he selected a workout option from a special requests menu, including a foam roller, resistance bands, and a yoga mat, reflecting a trend towards personalised guest experiences worldwide
When you think of hotel special requests, you usually imagine extra pillows, a late check-out, or maybe a fruit basket. But hotels around the world are starting to think differently. They want to make stays more personal, and sometimes the surprises can be pretty unique. A travel content creator, named Christian Grossi, shared an Instagram video that perfectly shows this shift. He had just checked into a hotel in Lithuania when he received a message asking about his preferences.

Instead of the usual “Do you have any special requests?”, the hotel gave him a set of options. The choices included coffee, snacks, and even fitness. The content creator admitted he normally never replies to such questions, but this time the fitness option caught his eye. “Because I have never seen that option before, I said yes, I am into fitness,” he explained. The hotel then said, “Okay, we'll do our best to accommodate you.”
When Christian entered his room, there was a box waiting on the bed with the words: “Stay fit while you travel. Workout amenities.” Inside, he found a foam roller and a resistance band. The set even included four mini resistance bands – ideal for travellers who do not want to miss a workout while on the road. Alongside the box, the hotel had placed a yoga mat on the bed.
Amused, the content creator added, “I don't know if I can keep the yoga mat or whatever is inside.” He ended the video by saying, “Is this what happens when you say yes to special requests at the hotel? I thought it was just for early check-in.”

In his caption, Christian Grossi revealed that the hotel was Hotel PACAI in Vilnius. He added, “Now I have no idea if this is normal in Lithuania, but I can tell you I've never seen this before.”
