Boman Irani recently had a lovely experience at an airport lounge. Earlier this month, the film veteran attended the French Open in Paris and documented his wonderful experience on social media. The 65-year-old is presumably returning from the memorable trip, organised by his family as a part of his "birthday surprise". About a week ago, Boman Irani dropped a video on Instagram where he engaged in a fun chit-chat with the lounge attendants. The clip opens to Boman Irani saying, "I'm here at the airport lounge with these wonderful people and for some strange reason, they're asking me to look behind."
When Boman Irani pans the camera, it's seen that a movie is playing on the television screen inside the lounge. It takes no rocket science to understand that the sequence is none other than the actor's 2009 hit film, 3 Idiots.

The airport staff simply smile in adoration and tell Boman Irani that the person in the movie and the one standing before them is the "same" man. One of them even admits to watching 3 Idiots 15 times. To this, Boman Irani's goofy reply was, "I'm seeing it for the second time" before breaking into a smile. Later, he thanks the staff for their wonderful hospitality and warm welcome.
The side note read, "Airport lounges are full of surprises. Some grab coffee. Some catch a nap. And some unknowingly walk into their own movie screening."
