Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has decided to use a bicycle during his campaign in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. This comes after the BJP's announced using a hi-tech Rath (chariot), while Mr Kumar's ally, Lalu Prasad has decided to use TumTum (horse-cart) as their vehicles for the election campaign.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is all set to launch 'tumtums' or horse-carts to counter BJP's 'parivartan raths' or chariots in the run up to assembly elections in Bihar, elections are due in a few months.

If the BJP has its petrol-driven rath for campaigning, RJD chief Lalu Prasad has come up with a perfect foil: the horse drawn carriage locally called "Tumtum". And the poor man's rath, he insists, will remind people of the broken promises of the Narendra Modi government.
