Dera Sacha Sauda's Well-Guarded Base Searched, Cash Found

The nerve-centre of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's sprawling empire in Haryana's Sirsa is being searched today by a team of state officials and hundreds of paramilitary personnel. Over 400 bomb squads, commandos and fire trucks are on stand-by for the operation at the Dera Sacha Sauda sect's main base covering around 800 acres.

Curfew continued to remain in force on Sunday in Haryana's Sirsa, with paramilitary forces conducting flag marches in the town, where clash between followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and a group of Sikhs left 12 persons injured.
