  • One of the occupants of the Honda City, 16-year-old Shifa, succumbed to her injuries. She was admitted to Jaslok hospital. The other occupants include 14-year-old Sania, who is in the ICU; 17-year-old Mohsin who has been sent home after treatment; and Mohsin's friend, 20-year-old Faizan, who was driving the car.
  • In the accident involving the Porsche, Ankesh Shahra, son of Dinesh Shahra, the MD of Ruchi Soya, was arrested after he knocked down a motorcyclist while speeding in his car.
  • Ankesh was booked for rash and negligent driving but was released on bail within hours.

    The motorcyclist is now in hospital with head and leg injuries.
