The New Cabinet
With an eye firmly on 2014, the Manmohan Singh government has undertaken as a major cabinet reshuffle. New and young faces, especially, feature prominently in the rejig with several of them getting an elevation.This is Manmohan Singh's third major reshuffle in this term.

Dinsha Patel was inducted into the cabinet as minister of Mines. -
Ajay Maken has been sworn in as the Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation minister. -
MM Pallam Raju has been elevated and assigned the Human Resource Development ministry. -
Chandresh Kumari Katoch has been sworn in as the Culture minister. -
Ashwani Kumar has been made the Law and Justice minister. -
Manish Tewari, the 47-year-old Congressman from Ludhiana, has been sworn in as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting (Independent charge). -
Telugu superstar turned politician Chiranjeevi has been made Tourism minister. -
Shashi Tharoor has been sworn in as the Minister of State for Human Resource Development. -
Kodikunnil Suresh has been sworn in as Minister of State for Labour and Employment. -
Tariq Anwar has been made the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries. -
Deepa Dasmunshi, 52, who is part of the West Bengal brigade, has been sworn in as the Minister of Urban Development. -
Porika Balram Naik, a Congressman who represents Mahabubabad in Andhra Pradesh in the Lok Sabha, has been made the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment. -
Dr Kruparani Killi is the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology. -
Ranee Narah was sworn in as minister of Tribal Affairs, MoS. -
Ninong Ering was sworn in as minister of Minority Affairs, MoS. -
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhry was sworn in as Railways minister, MoS. -
AH Khan Choudhury sworn in as Minsiter of State for minister of Health and Family Welfare. -
K Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy was sworn in as minister of state for Railways. -
Lalchand Kataria was sworn in as minister of state for Defence. -
Sarvey Sathyanarayana has been made minister of state for Road Transport and Highways.
