Haryana Assembly Elections 2019: Top Candidates File Nomination

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with ex-state minister senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt this week filed their nomination for the Haryana Assembly election 2019. The Assembly polls in Haryana are scheduled on October 21, while the counting will take place on October 24.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar files nominations from Karnal assembly seat at SDM Office, in Karnal. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Rattan Lal Kataria were also present at the office.

Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda also performed rituals with wife Asha Hooda before filing his nomination papers.
Congress' Haryana unit President Kumari Selja who was addressing a press conference, in New Delhi on Friday said among the party's 90 candidates for the Haryana Assembly polls, 10 are women and the average age of candidates is 55 years.
Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, BJP candidate from Haryana's Baroda for the upcoming state assembly elections also filed his nomination. He was accompanied by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
