Devaraya is an upcoming Telugu movie directed by Nani Krishna.
The movie is a period piece based on the story of the famous Vijayanagara ruler Sri Krishna Devaraya.
Actor Srikanth will be playing double roles in this socio-fantasy film.
Srikanth says: "Devaraya is an imaginary story of year 1500. Initially I was little doubtful whether I could do one such periodic film. However my confidence level has increased after Sri Ramarajyam. This movie has good entertainment along with two variations. I'm very lucky to get the opportunity to do the role of Sri Krishna Devaraya as well as a rich man."
Meenakshi Dixit, who made her film debut with the movie Lifestyle, will be playing the lead in the movie.
The music of the film has been composed by Chakri.
The film has been produced by Kiran Jakkamsetty.
The cinematography for the movie has been handled by Poorna.
