  • The second Test between India and Sri Lanka at Green Park stadium in Kanpur will not only be remembered as home team’s thumping victory over the islanders and S Sreesanth’s superb comeback in international circuit but also for registering their 100th win in the longer version of the game. However, it took more time for the Indian team to complete 100 Test wins unlike their other counterparts. CricketNDTV.com takes a look at the nations who have their name in the ‘100 Test wins’ club.
  • Australian team stands tall at the top of the table with 332 wins in 713 Tests they have played so far. They lost 186 out of those and drawn 193 matches. It took them 199 matches to complete 100 wins.
  • England comes at the second position in the tally of most Test wins by a team. They have played the highest number of Test matches i.e 891 and registered 310 wins and 258 losses. While, 323 is the count of their drawn matches, which is also the highest number by any team. It took them 241 matches to complete 100 wins.
  • West Indies are at the number three spot with 152 wins. They have played 460 Test matches so far, lost 150 and drawn 156 encounters. It took them 266 matches to complete 100 wins.
  • Proteas have recorded 120 Test wins and lie below the Windies in the list. The South African team has appeared in 344 Tests till date out of which they have lost 121 matches and drawn 103. It took them 310 matches to complete 100 wins.
  • The green brigade's Test wins tally is 103. Out of 341 matches played so face, Pakistan has lost 91 and 146 have been drawn by them. Pakistan registered their 100th win in their 320th Test.
  • India are at the sixth position in the '100 Test win club'. India have played 432 Tests so far, out of which they have lost 136 and 195 have resulted in a draw. It took them 432 matches to complete 100 wins.
