Malayalam actor duo Mammootty-Lal's upcoming thriller Cobra is much awaited by all.

Lal has acted, scripted and directed the movie.

The story revolves around the two actors depicted as boxers and decide to marry two sisters to strengthen their bond.

The famous duo Mammootty-Lal have delivered four successful hits in the past.

The music for the film is composed by Alex Paul.

Padmapriya and Kanika play the female leads.

The movie is an action comedy thriller.

Mammootty and Lal are best friends in the film and are popularly called 'Cobra'.

Playhouse and Lal Creations have jointly produced the movie.

Mammootty's recent film The King & The Commissioner received good critical response.

The cinematography of the film is done by National Award winner Venu.

World heavy weight champion and four times Mr. Universe winner, Ahmed Hamouda, will do a cameo in the film.

Some of the scenes have been shot in Bangkok.

The lyrics of the movie has been penned by well-known Malayalam lyricist Santhosh Varma.

Lal takes the director's chair again with this movie after his successful film, Tournament last year.

The film is said to hit the theatres on April 12.
