NBA basketball player Kris Humphries has set a new standard with blinding bling! The engagement ring he gave reality star and girlfriend of 6 months, Kim Kardashian, is a $2 million custom-cut 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz ring! We wonder which celebrity couple can top that. Angie and Brad perhaps – he has recently hinted they are likely to marry soon. We'll have to wait for that one.

NBA star boyfriend Kris Humphries surprised his celebrity girlfriend with a big rock in her bedroom where the words "Will You Marry Me?" had been formed using red rose petals. Reportedly none of the Kardashian sisters knew of it. ‘We had no idea… We were both surprised at the dinner when Kim came out with her big rock and she started waving it in the air,' says Kourtney Kardashian. ‘We just thought we were going to a family dinner,' adds Khloe Kardashian, ‘We were all sitting there like, ‘Kim is so late for dinner and we're starving.'

The engagement came months after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star gushed on People magazine's November issue about how she wanted “to fall in love”. Asking if it was weird to single at 30, she confessed that she thought she'd be ‘”married by now”.
As she now gushes about her ring, "In high school I went to Macy's and bought this fake ring, my 'perfect' ring, and this is almost the exact same." She added, "It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It's perfect." So, enough signals Kimmy!

Kim and Justin pretended they were dating at the White House Correspondents dinner, where they first met. Bieber tweeted, "Look it's my girlfriend Kim Kardashian."
Kim, who is 13 years Bieber's senior, wrote on her Twitter account " I messed up @JustinBieber's hair!!!!!". Bieber, who has openly confessed he has been crushing on the curvy lady, wrote back, "My dream!"
