Eros made a strong debut on Wednesday ending 15% higher. Its IPO garnered a robust response from investors and was oversubscribed 25.76 times.

The shares of the firm opened at Rs 213 on the day of its listing, up 21 per cent, on the BSE and at Rs 205.45, up 17 per cent on the NSE. (PTI)

The company has lined-up a capital expenditure of Rs 700 crore over the next two years. Most of the the funds will go into distribution of films and also to co-produce movies in more regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati and Telugu.
