Two separate fire incidents were reported in Noida on Friday morning, with a massive blaze breaking out in a flat on the 12th floor of a residential building in Sector 74, while another fire was reported on the ground floor of a building in Sector 52.
A massive fire broke out in a flat on the 12th floor in IVY County Society in Noida's sector 74.
Fire department teams rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. The society falls under the Sector 113 police station area.
The incident occurred around 8:00 am. Flames erupted from the flat on the 12th floor of the 28-storey building, and the fire spread rapidly, producing thick black smoke that was visible from nearby areas.
Firefighters are working to bring the blaze under control, though the cause of the fire remains unclear. No casualties have been reported so far.
Residents used the staircases to evacuate the building after the fire broke out. Police said the entire building was cleared, and residents of nearby flats were also moved to a safe location as a precaution.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the incident and directed officials to reach the spot immediately, according to a statement issued in Lucknow.
"He instructed the authorities to expedite relief and rescue operations and ensure proper medical treatment for the injured, if any," it stated, news agency PTI reported.
Meanwhile, a fire also broke out in Gijhor area of Noida Sector 52. According to initial information, the blaze erupted in an office located on the ground floor of a building that also houses a hostel/PG on the upper floors.
Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot after receiving information and are currently making efforts to bring the fire under control.

The incident follows a fire that broke out early Wednesday morning at the Flourish Stay hotel in south Delhi's Hauz Rani area, rapidly engulfing the building and trapping several occupants inside.
Many of the guests were foreign medical tourists or attendants of patients undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals, including Max Hospital.
At least 21 people were killed in the blaze, including several foreign nationals, while many others sustained injuries.
