Parliament Monsoon Session Day 17 Live Updates: As the INDIA Bloc leaders continued to protest Special Intensive Revision (SIR) issue of electoral rolls in Bihar, the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned.
The proceedings of Lok Sabha will be adjourned till 3:00 pm.
Earlier, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12:00 pm. The Rajya Sabha remains adjourned till 2:00 pm.
A day earlier, Delhi police detained several INDIA bloc leaders during their protest march from the Parliament House to the Election Commission of India (ECI) headquarters over SIR and alleged electoral malpractices.

Deadline Extended For One Nation, One Election Panel Report
The Lok Sabha on Tuesday accepted a motion to extend the tenure for the Joint Parliamentary Committee's report on the 'One Nation, One Election Bill.'
The extension will allow the committee to submit its findings by the first day of the last week of the Winter Session in 2025.
The motion was moved by PP Chaudhary, Chairman of the One Nation, One Election Panel. He requested the House to allow the JPC more time to present the report on the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024, and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024.
Panel To Probe Allegations Against High Court Judge Yashwant Varma
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla accepted motion signed by 146 MPs for impeachment of Justice Yashwant Verma.
On Tuesday, he announced a three-member panel to investigate allegations against High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma. Supreme Court judge Aravind Kumar, Madras High Court Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and jurist B V Acharya will probe charges against Justice Varma.
"Bill Will Result In Centralisation Of Sports Administration": Congress On National Sports Governance Bill
The Congress on Tuesday slammed the government for "bulldozing" the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 through the Lok Sabha and claimed that the legislation will result in the "extreme centralisation" of sports administration.
Sharing a post on X, Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh wrote, "The National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 was bulldozed through the Lok Sabha yesterday and will perhaps be subject to the same treatment in the Rajya Sabha today. The Bill will result in the extreme centralisation of sports administration. And, of course, the BCCI will get most favoured treatment, not subject to any laws of the land like the RTI."

INDIA bloc leaders continue to protest over the alleged voter fraud and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) issues. MPs, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, were seen wearing T-shirts featuring the name Minta Devi, a voter allegedly listed as 124 years old in the Election Commission's voter list.

Congress MP Moves Motion In Rajya Sabha Over Electoral Roll Concerns
Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala submitted a notice in the Rajya Sabha under Rule 267, seeking the suspension of the House's scheduled business on Tuesday to discuss what he describes as serious concerns over 'the integrity of India's electoral processes'.
In his notice to the Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha, Surjewala wrote, "The House must deliberate on serious concerns about the exclusion of already precarious communities from the electoral rolls in the absence of adequate safeguards, transparency, and due process in their implementation."
