New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking in parliament over unrelenting opposition chants targeting him over the Adani Group, said the "lotus (BJP's symbol) will bloom no matter how much mud you throw at us".
As PM Modi started his reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address, the Opposition MPs started raising slogans of "Modi-Adani bhai-bhai" in Rajya Sabha.
"The country carefully hears what is said in this House. Some MPs are bringing disrepute to this House," he said.
The debate on the motion of thanks to the President's Address in Rajya Sabha concluded on Wednesday. President Droupadi Murmu had addressed the joint sitting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on January 31, the first day of the Budget Session.
