Bihar Assembly Election 2025 Phase 2 Voting LIVE Updates: An approximate voter turnout of 14.55% was recorded till 9:00 AM in the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Voting for this phase commenced at 7:00 am across 122 crucial constituencies in 20 districts and will continue until 5:00 pm.
Preparations were in full swing ahead of the decisive round, where a massive electorate of 3.7 crore voters is poised to determine the political future of 1,302 candidates, including 136 women and one third-gender candidate.
This phase is crucial for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's cabinet, as 12 ministers from his government are in the race. Among JD(U) candidates are Vijendra Yadav (Supaul), Lesi Singh (Dhamdaha), Jayant Kushwaha (Amarpur), Sumit Singh (Chakai), Mohammad Jama Khan (Chainpur), and Sheela Mandal (Phoolparas).
Ministers from the BJP in the race include Prem Kumar (Gaya), Renu Devi (Bettiah), Vijay Kumar Mandal (Sikati), Nitish Mishra (Jhanjharpur), Neeraj Bablu (Chhatapur), and Krishnanandan Paswan (Harsiddhi).

Voter participation across the 20 polling districts showed varied intensity in the first two hours. Gaya district led the charge, recording the highest early turnout at 15.97%, with Kishanganj (15.81%) and Jamui (15.77%) close behind. The district of Madhubani registered the lowest turnout among all areas, standing at 13.25%.

Polling started peacefully on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam and Nagrota Assembly constituencies as voters turned out in large numbers to exercise their democratic right. The voters were seen wearing traditional tweed overgarments called 'Pherans' as they came out in the morning.
