What are the side effects of Prohair?

Prohair is the brand name. It contains a drug called finasteride which is primarily used in the treatment of enlarged prostate. It is also used to help grow scalp hair though its efficacy is not fully established. Its side effects include impotence, decreased libido, decreased ejaculate volume, testicular pain, breast tenderness & enlargement, sensitivity phenomenon such as lip swelling & skin rash and male breast cancer.
