Any throat infection by eighth month of pregnancy generally does not cause any problem with the pregnancy. The duration of antibiotic may not be sufficient. You may have to drink a lot of water (and, other fluids) in order to keep the throat wet. You have to consult a doctor. After consulting a doctor, a simple cough suppressant for a few nights also will be in order.
