Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan may have hugged and made up during Iftar parties over two consecutive Ramzans but when it comes to their professional rivalry, the fight just got more interesting. On June 23, Yash Raj Films announced the release date of
Sultan, starring Salman Khan, as Eid 2016. It has now been confirmed that
Sultan will indeed clash with Shah Rukh Khan's
Raees at the box office next year.
Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of
Raees and co-owner of Excel Entertainment with Farhan Akhtar, made this clear in tweets:
