The Drishyam franchise is heading towards its final chapter and Ajay Devgn is set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar. The actor has announced the title of the much-awaited third instalment as Drishyam: The Conclusion. The final chapter is expected to take the story of Vijay and his family forward, bringing the popular saga to a close. The film is set to release in theatres on October 2.
Ajay Devgn unveiled the first poster of Drishyam: The Conclusion on X. The poster featured an extreme close-up of the right side of the actor's face, focusing on his intense eye staring directly at the audience. The text in the forefront read, "Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai" [My truth, my right, only my family hai]."
In the caption, Ajay wrote, "Har insaan ka nazariya alag hota hai… mere liye meri family hi sab kuch hai. [Everyone has a different perspective... for me, my family is everything.] #DrishyamTheConclusion in cinemas 2nd October."
The first-look teaser, released in December 2025, had already offered a glimpse into what fans can expect from Drishyam: The Conclusion. Ajay Devgn's voiceover in the teaser gave an insight into Vijay's state of mind and hinted at the events that could unfold in the final chapter.
He said, “The world calls me by many names — criminal, murderer, deceitful, cunning, fraud, cunning, hero, innocent, father, and mastermind. But it doesn't matter to me. Because I understood one thing from whatever happened, whatever I did, saw, or showed in the past seven years: In this world, every person's truth is different, as are their rights. My truth and right are my family. As long as things don't stop, as long as others don't fail, I will stand here, like a gatekeeper and a wall.”
The third instalment will bring back Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, along with Tabu as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran as Nandini. Rajat Kapoor will also reprise his role, while Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat have joined the franchise in new characters.
The makers have wrapped shooting for the venture, and the movie is in the post-production stage. Backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios, Drishyam: The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak.
