Taking to the Instagram Stories of Aamir Khan Productions, the actor shared a poster of the film and tagged director Aditya Dhar along with cast members Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.

Praising the film, he wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to the entire team of Dhurandhar: The Revenge! Your Passion, vision and hard work have truly resonated with audiences."

Last month, during an appearance at the International Film Festival of Delhi, Aamir had revealed that he had not yet seen the film.

"I have not seen the film yet. But I hear only praises of the film. Dhurandhar 1 and now Dhurandhar 2. Both the films have done exceptionally well, and my very best wishes to the team," he had said.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Performance

Dhurandhar 2, a sequel to the 2025 film Dhurandhar, has continued its strong run in theatres. The first instalment had reportedly crossed Rs 1300 crore worldwide.

The sequel has already earned over Rs 900 crore net in India and is now aiming to surpass the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Pushpa 2: The Rise to emerge as the highest-grossing Indian film.

The franchise follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent, played by Ranveer Singh, who infiltrates criminal and political networks in Karachi as part of a mission to dismantle a terror operation. 

Aamir Khan's Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Aamir was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, marking his return to cinemas after Laal Singh Chaddha (2022). He also made a cameo appearance in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos.

He is now awaiting the release of his production Ek Din, directed by Sunil Pandey. 

The film stars Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi and is slated to hit theatres on May 1. It is a remake of the Thai film One Day (2016).

Aamir also has another production, Lahore 1947, in the pipeline. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh.
