Anand Lok Sabha constituency, home to the famous Amul Dairy, voted on April 23, in the third phase of 2019 Lok Sabha election. There are 16,55,342 registered voters in this constituency, including 8,54,202 male, 8,01,032 female voters, and 108 third gender voters.

The Anand Lok Sabha constituency consists of Khambhat, Borsad, Anklav, Umreth, Anand, Petlad and Sojitra assembly segments.

In 2019, Anand is seeing an electoral battle between Bharatbhai Madhavsinh Solanki of the Congress and BJP's Mitesh Rameshbhai Patel.

BJP won the Anand seat in 2014 by a margin of 63,426 votes defeating the Congress' contestant and two-time MP Bharatbhai Madhavsinh Solanki.

In the 2014 poll, a total of 16,872 votes were exercised under the NOTA option.

In 2019, 10 candidates are contesting from Anand. Among other contenders are Vankar Rameshbhai Valjibhai (Bahujan Samaj Party), Ashishkumar Manojkumar Bhatt (Akhil Bharatiya Jan Sangh), Sunilkumar Narendrabhai (Right to Recall Party), Keyur Pravinbhai Patel (Bakabhai) (Independent), Chavda Kaushikkumar (Independent), Bharatbhai Solanki (Independent), Santolkumar Mahijibhai Patel (Independent) and Hitendrasinh Mohansinh Parmar (Independent).
