Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 (Scorecard OUT) LIVE Updates: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Results 2026 through a press conference held at 11 am today, with the overall pass percentage recorded at 89.79%. While the official notice had stated that scorecards would be released at 1 pm, the results were made available earlier on the official website at 12 pm.
Students who appeared for the exams can check and download their scorecard from the official websites mahahsscboard.in, hscresult.mahahsscboard.in or through DigiLocker. The scorecards have been released for all streams- science, commerce, arts, and vocational streams.
Minimum Passing Criteria
Students must secure at least 35 per cent marks in both theory and practical components to pass. Those falling short will be allowed to appear for compartment exams.
The Maharashtra HSC examination recorded a pass rate of 89.79%, marking a slight decline from last year's 91.88%. Out of 14,44,713 students who enrolled, 14,33,058 took the exams, and 12,86,843 successfully passed.

Maharashtra 12th Result LIVE: Science Tops Pass Percentage
Stream-wise results highlight Science as the top-performing stream with a pass rate of 96.44 per cent. Commerce followed at 87.03 per cent, while Vocational courses recorded an 82.64 per cent pass percentage. Arts reported the lowest success rate at 78.02 per cent, and ITI registered a pass percentage of 81.78 per cent.

Out of 7,64,459 registered boys, 7,58,184 appeared and 6,58,144 passed, recording a pass percentage of 86.80 per cent.

Overall, out of 14,44,713 registered students, 14,33,058 appeared and 12,86,843 passed, with the total pass percentage standing at 89.79 per cent.
